DUTAGEN is a pharmacist-compounded topical dutasteride solution formulated to support the management of androgenetic alopecia (male-pattern hair loss). It is intended for consistent daily use; benefits build gradually and are maintained only while treatment continues. Individual results vary, and regrowth is not guaranteed.
Our products are produced and designed by a licensed compounding pharmacy. Raw materials are pharmaceutical grade. The concentration of active ingredient is standardised at 0.1% dutasteride, equivalent to 1 mg of dutasteride per 1 ml of solution.
Some studies suggest topical dutasteride can meaningfully reduce local scalp DHT, though direct head-to-head evidence against oral formulations remains limited. Because of the compound’s molecular weight (528.5 Da), a topical vehicle favours retention within the scalp tissue, with only a small fraction becoming systemically absorbed. This helps keep the already-low likelihood of side effects low, though some systemic absorption is still possible.
The brown pharmaceutical glass absorbs harmful UV wavelengths, protecting the product from light damage. The dropper is standardised at 1 ml. One unit is 50 ml, sufficient for almost 2 months of supply with once-daily use (1 ml per application).

HOW TO USE
- Use the dropper to apply 1 ml of solution to a clean, dry scalp. Spread and rub on areas affected by androgenetic alopecia.
SOLUTION STABILITY
- The product has a shelf life of 2 years when stored at room temperature. No need to store it in a refrigerator.
